Poll finds New Jersey drivers support red light cameras
According to a recently released AAA New Jersey Motorist Survey which was conducted in November 2007, New Jersey drivers support red light cameras.
The poll found 77% support and 56% strongly support red light cameras. The specific questions posed to the interviewees was, “Do you favor the use of cameras on traffic lights to catch drivers who run through red lights, where violators would be mailed a summons?”
The poll assessed drivers opinions on road conditions, road safety, driver behavior, commute, distractions on the road, technology, and policies and legislation.
