Poll shows strong red light camera support in New Jersey
According to a recent poll conducted by Public Opinion Strategies (POS), there is strong support for red light cameras in New Jersey amongst voters. Key findings include:
-
77% support the use of red light cameras at high volume intersections in their state
- 50% say they strongly support red light cameras
- 43% believe most residents in their state support red light cameras, whereas 77% do, exemplifying a “disconnect” between voters’ actual attitudes on the issue and their perception of how others feel
