Tennessee red light lawsuit rejected
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- A Tennessee U.S. District judge dismissed a disgruntled motorist's lawsuit challenging Knoxville's contract with Redflex.
Officials responded by saying the city's red light camera program is a constitutional public safety tool to protect motorists. More than 11,000 Knoxville drivers, including the afore mentioned plaintiff, have been cited since April 2006.
